It is indicated that the subject of the right to constitutional representation believes that the law on opening a land market in Ukraine does not comply with the Constitution.

On April 28, President Vladimir Zelensky signed a law on agricultural land circulation. According to the law, from July 1, 2021, Ukrainians will be able to buy agricultural land. One person can buy a total of not more than 100 hectares of land. Legal entities owned by citizens of Ukraine will be able to buy land from January 1, 2024. Legal entities will be able to concentrate in their property no more than 10 thousand hectares.

Foreigners will be able to buy land only if citizens make an appropriate decision at an all-Ukrainian referendum. Note that while there is no law on referenda in Ukraine.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the law in the second reading on March 31. The parliamentarians tried to reverse the decision of the parliament by registering 13 resolutions for this, but none could support. Most of the resolutions were submitted to the Verkhovna Rada by deputies from the Fatherland faction. Reports about it " Ukraine"
