Institutions that are designated for observation in the region can accommodate more than 1000 people.
This was announced by the chairman of KOGA Alexei Kucher at a briefing on April 15.
“We know that there are people who are not happy with this. But these actions are aimed at stopping the spread of coronavirus disease.. Today it is known that one person who has crossed the border with the Russian Federation has a disease. Therefore, these measures are justified now, ”the head of the regional state administration emphasized..
Two observational institutions identified in the region. These are sanatoriums that meet all the relevant requirements and are agreed by the sanitary doctor. They can accommodate more than 1000 people..
The head of KOGA noted that the people who are in the places of observation are provided with everything necessary. According to the relevant government decree, the regional administration should provide only observation sites, people had to eat at their own expense.
“At the same time, we attracted additional non-budgetary funds, these are the funds of businessmen, for which we feed people who are on observation,” said Alexey Kucher.
According to him, in recent days, from 100 to 200 people cross the border of the region daily. However, not all of them agree to the observation.
“It is mandatory for all people who cross or cross the border. People do not agree to the observation. The police have no right to use force against them, so if they leave such places or simply refuse, then the police are forced to draw up a protocol. Those who refuse to observe are liable. At a minimum, this is an administrative responsibility - from 17 to 34 thousand. UAH ”, - said the chairman of KOGA.
Only those who have had contact with people with coronavirus disease and are likely infected are not sent for observation. Such people are placed on self-isolation, since they pose a threat to those who are in the places of observation.
During the briefing, the deputy chairman of KHOA Taras Pastukh also said that if necessary the number of observation institutions in the region will be increased, and the citizens who will be in them will be provided with everything necessary.
