The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided on the mandatory hospitalization of persons who are determined by regional and Kyiv city state administrations as those who cannot comply with the requirements of self-isolation, as well as those who twice violated the conditions of self-isolation.

It is noted that obligatory observation is subject to persons who have contact with patients or who have signs of infection with COVID-19 and who refuse medical examination in the direction of the attending physician. Children under 12 years old will be hospitalized with one of the parents.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a list of additional restrictions on the duration of quarantine measures.

Among the new changes introduced there will be a ban on: being in public places without a mask or respirator; displacement by a group of persons of more than two people, except for cases of official necessity and accompanying children; the presence in public of persons under the age of 16; visiting forest and coastal areas; visiting sports and playgrounds; holding all public events in which more than 10 people take part.
