According to Yaroslav Sagan, the head of the housing maintenance department of the housing and communal services “Zhilkomservice”, five teams of the city disinfection service, which work in all areas of the city, carry out the processing.

“Within a week and a half, we plan to process 3 thousand. entrances in 900 residential buildings. Then we proceed to processing the remaining ones, and when we go around everything at home, we will begin the process of disinfection in the second round. We will carry out sanitization until the dangerous situation in Kharkov ends, ”said Yaroslav Sagan.

According to service workers, the treatment is carried out with ammonium solution, which is an effective disinfectant and is widely used for these purposes in different countries, including the USA. In this case, the product does not pose a danger to people and pets.

" Processing one entrance takes 20-40 minutes. Particular attention is paid to crowded places - these are elevators, the entrance group and the first floor, ”said the disinfector Alexander Lyamin.

In total, about 300 entrances are planned to be processed by disinfection teams per day. Work is carried out from 9:00 to 17:00. Processing schedules are placed in advance at the entrances of houses.

Also, the head of the Clean House Ukraine City disinfection service, Valery German, said that the company’s arsenal has an aerosol generator of cold fog, which allows disinfecting open areas of a large area and, if necessary, will also be used to combat coronavirus.

“This is a unique American-made machine that can process open areas with any disinfectants.”. From day to day, it can be used to disinfect 10 to 40 ha. We mainly process parks and private territories, but if there is a need, we will begin to process sidewalks and streets, ”said Valery German.
