Portugal again became the most hospitable country in Europe according to expats

Portugal turned out to be the friendliest country in Europe for the moved foreigners, according to the annual Expat Insider Survey rating compiled by the website of the international community of expatriates InterNations.

Portugal took third place in the world, rising two lines compared to last year. According to another InterNations rating, the capital of Portugal, Lisbon was the best city for expats in Europe.

Taiwan topped the ranking of countries this year, Vietnam in second place. The top ten from the EU countries also included Spain (in 5th place) and the Czech Republic (in 10th), Europuls notes.



The rating is compiled on the basis of a survey of expats, in which this time more than 20 thousand people from 187 countries of the world took part. They were asked to evaluate various aspects of life in a new country - from the availability of online services and professional opportunities to the friendliness of local residents and the convenience of living with a family.

This year's ranking considered 64 countries. Ukraine entered only the top ten.
