42-year-old Russian citizen convicted of espionage in Russia, Ilya Tikhanovsky, can be released from prison ahead of schedule under electronic surveillance.
According to postimees with reference to the press service of the Tartu County Court, neither Tartu Prison nor the prosecutor's office objected to the consideration of Tikhanovsky's request for parole. The court ruling will be announced no later than March 23.
