The pyrotechnic units of the State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine from the beginning of the environmental protection in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions seized and destroyed almost 34 thousand. explosive objects, the press center of the headquarters of the operation of the united forces.

The press center emphasized that, in accordance with the orders of the OOS Commander, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service carried out work on cleaning up explosive terrain objects, life support facilities and infrastructure, escorted emergency brigades of utility companies during repairs and preventive maintenance at electricity and water supply facilities.

“During the week, pyrotechnic calculations were involved 45 times, examined 34 hectares of the territory, 241 explosive items were seized and rendered harmless. In total, from the beginning of the environmental protection campaign, pyrotechnic units were involved 6,112 times, 6,731.64 hectares of the territory and 17.5 hectares of the water area were examined, 33,838 explosive objects were seized and destroyed, "

At the points of assistance to the population located on the territory of the checkpoints of entry / exit, rescuers provided medical and psychological assistance to 984 people.
