Ukrainians lead in the number of received residence permits in Poland

As of January 1, 2020, nearly 423,000 foreigners had valid residence permits in Poland.

About this with reference to the data of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland writes the publication Rzeczpospolita.

Most of all residence permits in Poland were received by citizens of Ukraine - 214.7 thousand people. Next are the citizens of Belarus, Germany (21.3 thousand. ), Russia (12.5 thousand. ), Vietnam (12.1 thousand. ), India (9.9 thousand. ), Italy (8.5 thousand. ), China (8.5 thousand. ), UK (6.3 thousand. ) and Spain (5.9 thousand.

About 57% of foreigners with a valid residence permit in Poland aged 20 to 39 years, almost 26% - from 40 to 59 years and 12% - up to 20 years.
