Ukraine stops exporting champagne and cognac

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine (CCI) will not issue certificates for drinks called cognac, armagnac, grappa, brandy and sherry due to the expiration of the transition period after signing the Free Trade Zone Agreement (FTA).

3 of the Rules of Procedure of the European Parliament and of the Council, France, Italy and Spain are identified as the countries of origin that can use the names cognac, Armagnac, grappa, brandy de sherry.
