The Belarusian Interior Ministry refused to consider illegal the call to expel Muscovites, which appeared at one of the posters at a rally on October 6 in Minsk. This was reported by REGNUM.

We are talking about a poster with the inscription “You are a coarse calico practiced with Belarus. Find our huts - you are coarse calico, yes yes, I’ve been bracing me less.! \! »). He appeared at a picket to collect signatures for nominating candidates for deputies of the lower house of the Belarusian parliament.

The author of the appeal to law enforcement authorities stated that the appeal was aimed at “inciting racial, national, religious or other social hostility or hatred”.

“At the same time, it should be noted that the content of this poster is directed against the fraternal Russian people and our common Union State,” the statement said.

However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, after considering the appeal, refused to conduct an audit. There they came to the conclusion that the actions of the citizen who was holding the placard on the picket do not contain an offense under article 130 of the Criminal Code of Belarus (“Inciting hatred or hatred”), since the word “Muscovite” does not refer to a particular nationality.
