Kharkiv local prosecutor’s office №2 has accused four guys who injured a journalist and broke his video camera.
This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office of Kharkiv region.
In June 2019, journalist Vadim Makaryuk suffered during clashes on the territory of the Barabashovo shopping center. Four young men, preventing a person from fulfilling his professional duties, inflicted bodily harm on him and broke a video camera.
Regarding violators, preventive measures were chosen: three - in the form of house arrest and another - in the form of a personal obligation.
The indictment against these persons was directed on the following facts: prosecution of a journalist for the performance of professional duties committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons, deliberate bodily harm with the use of an object specially adapted for this, destruction of the journalist’s property and hooliganism.
