The number of victims of two earthquakes in the Philippines increased to 21

The death toll from two powerful earthquakes in the Philippines this week rose to 21, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported, citing a published report by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Response Council (NDRRMC).

Previously reported 15 dead and 403 injured.

According to NDRRMC, the number of victims also increased to 432. Earthquakes damaged about 30 thousand infrastructure objects, including almost a thousand schools, dozens of religious sites and medical centers, as well as more than 20 roads and bridges.

Two earthquakes of magnitude 6.6 and 6.5 occurred on the Philippine island of Mindanao on October 29 and 31.
