Kiev City Council decided to rename the square in the Podolsk district in honor of the deceased musician Andrei Kuzmenko.
The relevant decision was made on Thursday, November 15, the Kiev city state administration.
The square on Vasily Porik Street between houses 7 and 9 in the Podolsk district was renamed Kuzma Scriabin Square.
77 deputies out of 83 voted for this decision..
The square is located not far from the house in Vinogradar, where Kuzma lived. In support of the square named after Scriabin, residents of the array collected more than two thousand signatures.
