From the city budget it is planned to allocate 50 million for the implementation of the City target socio-economic program for the construction (acquisition) of affordable housing in 2019.
This was announced today, November 13, at the meeting of the standing commission on housing and utilities, landscaping and engineering infrastructure of the city of Kharkiv City Council, said Deputy Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Development, Planning and Accounting at the Department of Economics and Municipal Property Roman Shabala, the city council press service reports.
According to him, it is planned to allocate 5 million UAH for the direction of the 50x50 program (budget support in the amount of 50%), 10 million UAH for providing affordable housing for the city’s enterprises, 10 million UAH for employees of the city’s public institutions, 20 million UAH for for lending to participants of hostilities in the area of ??the ATO, 5 million UAH - for internally displaced.
In addition, at the next session of the City Council it is planned to allocate UAH 21.2 million for the implementation of the City target program for youth housing loans in 2019.
Roman Shabala noted that in 2018, as of November 1, more than 90 families benefited from preferential housing loans (74 families in 2017), 29 of them became participants in the youth lending program. It is expected that by the end of the year, thanks to the support of the city, more than 100 families will improve their living conditions..
