Igor Smelyansky, the general director of Ukrposhta, said that the government and parliament did not agree on the approval of an economically advantageous tariff for the delivery of pensions, which is why the state-owned company is forced to stop supplying pensions and close 5-7 thousand branches in villages.
It is noted that the staff working in rural offices of "Ukrposhta" will be reduced, and the company will begin to develop its offices in the cities.
"We have prepared an anti-crisis plan, which we will introduce on November 1, if the tariff is not accepted. This means that Ukrposhta will have to optimize the network in villages built for the delivery of pensions.. From January 1, 2019, we will not deliver pensions, in addition to 5-7 thousand inpatient units, we will release part of the administrative and production staff, "Smelyansky said in an interview with the Government Courier.
