The government adopted a decree of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (No. 298), which introduces 3 changes, which will increase the access of Ukrainians to medicines, said the head of the Ministry of Health Uliana Suprun.

The first change is the redistribution of funds for scarce drugs.. This means that if there are residues of drugs from a specific program in the hospital, but the Oncology program does not have enough expensive drugs, then the funds will go to the last to balance the level of drug supply.

The second change, about which Ms. Suprun spoke, is the establishment of the maximum term for the distribution of medicines in local warehouses and medical institutions - three days.. That is, the drugs that the Ministry of Health procures, after delivery to Ukraine, will be immediately transported to the regional departments for health issues.. Within a maximum of three days, they must be delivered to local warehouses and medical facilities..

And the last shift is the distribution of vaccines to medical institutions where family doctors provide free help..

Previously, vaccines purchased at the expense of taxpayers were available only in public health facilities.. Now all medical institutions that have signed an agreement with the National Health Service of Ukraine will receive these vaccines for free. That is, you can get the vaccine from municipal, private medical institutions and even from physicians-FOPs. As a result, the level of vaccination will increase, because the baby will be vaccinated during the first days, regardless of which type of property the medical institution was born in.
