The women's and men's Paralympic teams of Ukraine won gold medals at the European Championship in golf, which was held in the Polish city of Chorzow.

Two athletes from Kharkiv region: Elena Rud and Yuliya Fakeeva, as well as representatives from Poltava, Zhytomyr and Ternopil regions participated in the women's national team of Ukraine.

Wards of the Ukrainian national team coach Tatyana Ganshina Kharkiv confidently won the group stage, beating the Swedish team with a score of 7: 3, Belgium - 12: 2 and France - 11: 1.

In the quarterfinals, they left no chance for the Polish girls, defeating the rivals with a score of 11: 1, and in the semifinals, the team of Belgium won no less convincingly 12: 2. Ukraine's national team won rivals in finals from Finland with a score of 2: 1.

Women's victory was supported by the Ukrainian men's team, which consisted of athletes from the Poltava region. In the final, the Ukrainians defeated the Greek team with a score of 12: 2. This is reported in the Office of Youth and Sports HOGA.
