Andrei Reva, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, noted the importance of the differentiated approach used by the Pension Reform in determining the retirement age to motivate people to participate in the pension program, in turn, creates conditions for the legalization of the labor market.
This was announced by the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andrei Reva on the TV channel "Direct", writes the Governmental portal.
"We have implemented a pension reform retaining the base retirement age for both women and men.
The retirement age was made dependent on the fulfillment of the pension plan conditions. If you have completely fulfilled the conditions of the pension program - you go to retire at 60 years, if you have partially fulfilled - then at 63, and if you have fulfilled at the minimum level - then at 65. People have a choice. if a person does not pay contributions to the Pension Fund, or does not work, then why should she retire at 60? The one who worked has the right to retire earlier than the one who did not do it, "the Minister said.
