Researchers calculated the number of tourists arriving in the city by plane, and the available places for spending a night on a square kilometer, compared the number of tourists in the peak season with the number of local residents, and learned from thousands of residents of each city how they treat tourists and do not feel any discomfort from -for them. As a result, the cities were given a rating of 10 (tourists do not interfere with the townspeople) to 1 (tourists are a big source of problems for the townspeople). On this scale, Barcelona scored 2.05 points, Amsterdam - 2.18, Venice - 2.19.
