The meeting with the delegation of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine was held by the First Deputy Chairman of the Kharkov Regional Council Viktor Kovalenko. During the meeting, the new director of the Israeli Cultural Center in Kharkov, Mark Goldman, was introduced, and further areas of cooperation. Thus, the first deputy chairman of the Regional Council noted that for already three years there has been an active dynamic of official contacts at the highest level between Ukraine and Israel. Active cooperation in the field of medicine and science and education is conducted. For the fruitful activity and the withdrawal of the Center's activities to a new best level, Victor Kovalenko, the previous director of the Israeli Cultural Center, now chairman of the Department of Educational Programs "Nativa" under the office of the head of the government of the State of Israel, Alice Liederman. Alisa Linderman also thanked for effective cooperation and added: "It was very pleasant to work with you. I am sure that the new leaders of the Center will be able to organize new interesting projects here and further develop the ties between Israel and the Kharkiv region. Thank you for the opportunity to introduce Kharkiv citizens to Israel. I am very happy about it". Newly appointed director of the Israeli Cultural Center, Second Secretary of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine Mark Goldman thanked for the warm welcome in the region. "As soon as we arrived in Kharkov - we went to the celebration of the Flag Day, which struck us. This sets a certain level, a sparkle in the eyes and inspiration to work. I would like to continue on this wave - to develop culture, work with youth ". Among the plans of activity, he noted, the organization of exhibitions of contemporary Kharkiv artists and craftsmen in Israel and the organization of counter events in the Kharkov region; the development of programs for the exchange of experience of teaching staff and students of universities in the region with teachers of Israeli universities, as well as the organization of internships for the youth of the Kharkiv region in Izrajtik institutions and institutions.
The sides also discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of agriculture, the possibilities for the development of the project and the establishment of a joint training and practical rehabilitation center for the military. Mark Goldman also expressed interest in joint programs in the field of education. During the meeting, counselor of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine, Felix Gurvich, stressed that it is in the Kharkov region that they meet the greatest support and promote productive work.
