"I think that this year there will be 20 million people who will sign a declaration with family doctors. Today (signed - IF) about 18 million, "- he said at an extraordinary meeting of the Cabinet in Kiev on Friday.
He said that the draft state budget for 2019 provides for the allocation of 15 billion UAH for the development of primary medical care.
"It will be enough to raise the salary. We as a state will have to pay a doctor for the health of the patient. Addressing increases responsibility and quality, "he said..
Groysman said that in medical institutions that entered the reform, medical earnings increased two to three times.
"Where this reform has already begun, there are doctors who used to get 5-6 thousand. UAH, and today they receive from 12 to 16 thousand. UAH, "he said..
"In one year, to resume the system, which was destroyed for 25 years, is very, very difficult, almost impossible," stressed the head of government.
As reported, the draft state budget for 2019 provides that from 2019, secondary medical care, including specialist advice, analyzes and research, if they are provided in the direction of the family doctor, will be free of charge and will be paid through the National Health Service.
