In Russia, unmarried men are twice as many as unmarried women. This is evidenced by the results of research VTsIOM.
Sociologists found out that 50% of Russians are in official marriage, 10% live together without a stamp in their passport and 2% meet for more than one year, but do not live together. Another 13% of Russians are widows or widowers, and 10% are divorced.
In addition, the survey showed that there are more bachelors in Russia than unmarried women - 16% versus 7%.
Also named the most popular places of acquaintance with the second half. Thus, 30% of those who are in a relationship have met their couple in the company of friends and acquaintances, 20% at work, and 13% at an educational institution.
Dating in the Internet prefers young people (18-24 years), in particular men.
The survey was conducted among 1,600. of adult Russians.
