In the Mexican state of Veracruz, the police found secret burials with dozens of human bodies. The existence of graves was reported by a witness whose identity is not disclosed.
The law enforcement agencies do not disclose the exact location of the secret tombs, as the work there continues.
According to the expertise, bodies were buried at least two years ago.
This gloomy find has become one of the many that have been made in recent years in eastern Mexico. Last spring, the public prosecutor of Veracruz reported a secret mass grave of 250 people.
Through Veracruz, drug traffickers transport their illegal goods to the north of the country, and from there to the United States. The state has been engulfed for several years by the war between the drug cartels. As the police assume, in secret graves, drug dealers hide the bodies of murdered opponents.
