Since the beginning of the year in the Kiev, Cherkasy, Kharkov, Odessa, Nikolaev, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Zhytomyr and Poltava regions, there is a massive sea of ??fish. This was stated in the Association of Fishermen of Ukraine.
The main reasons for such a sad situation, according to the local association of fishermen, are the negligent attitude of man to water bodies, unsatisfactory work of nature protection structures, abnormal heat, low water year and the entry of water and domestic sewage and chemicals from fields. All this leads to a sharp decrease in the amount of oxygen in the water, which is what causes the sea.
According to its chairman, Alexander Chistyakov, in the past year, all or almost all of the bioresources in 1200 Ukrainian reservoirs were poisoned, and in 980 reservoirs there were overseas phenomena due to the heat and growth of blue-green algae that secrete toxins in rotting.
