The State Border Service hosted events on the occasion of the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine. With the participation of the leadership of the border department, the State Blue-Yellow Flag was raised from the Administration of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

"In recent years, this day has passed its tragic and majestic evolution, and the symbol of the state - the yellow-blue flag became a precious treasure for every citizen. He is defended, they go into battle with him, the best sons of Ukraine give their lives for him! ", - said the Chairman of the State Border Service Peter Tsigikal.

In addition, the border guards laid flowers at the monument to the "Defenders of the Borders of the Fatherland of All Generations" and honored the memory of the dead with a minute of silence who, at the cost of their own lives, defended the peace and peace.

Activities on the occasion of the celebration were also held in regional offices and all border protection agencies. In addition, today the border guards will actively participate in the celebrations organized by regional and district state administrations.

During the difficult political situation in the country, the State Flag of Ukraine, as one of its state symbols, acquired special significance for the citizens of our state, fighters of the State Border Service.
