Shevchenkovsky district court of Kiev made a decision to detain for 60 days with the right to make a deposit of 30 million UAH former employee of the Odessa customs Denis Aminev, who is suspected of involvement in the theft of arrested containers with a cargo not cleared at an approximate cost of 154 million UAH.

The Investigative Department of Financial Investigations of the DFS of the DFS conducts pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings started after the appropriation of the arrested inventory items. We are talking about containers with non-cleared goods with an estimated value of UAH 154 million, which in mid-June were arrested as physical evidence.
Seized during the investigation video recordings from surveillance cameras and testimony of witnesses, Ameenev's involvement in the appropriation of the arrested goods was ascertained, which was taken out by freight transport under the guise of moving to another compound.
None of the employees of the Odessa customs, as the media wrote, is not detained. The involvement of a group of customs officers in the activities of Aminev is not even considered.
