Former MK Muhammad Barake, now head of the Supreme Monitoring Committee of the Israeli Arabs, said: "I hear that the media has already begun a campaign of incitement against Palestinian flags in this demonstration. It is the flag of the enslaved Palestinian people, the flag that is tried through the law on the national character of the state, to withdraw from history ".
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu published an entry in his Twitter account: "The PLO flags at a demonstration in Tel Aviv are the clearest evidence of how important and necessary was the law on the national state.
