The protest was also attended by residents of houses located near the park. They are afraid that with the beginning of the construction of their house will collapse, and on the roads will be permanent traffic jams, because the surrounding infrastructure is not designed for a new facility.

Later, the protesters began to demolish the fence, which was installed by workers in the square.

The fence tried to protect young people of a sporty physique who were on duty on the spot, using force and tear gas - there was a scuffle. As a result, several participants of the action suffered.

Protests for the preservation of the park took place in the city from April. "The Dnipropetrovsk Administrative Court of Appeal upheld the ban on the removal of greenery in the Yalanskiy square before the decision was passed on the results of the appeal against the decision of the Zaporozhye District Administrative Court.
