"Construction works are at the maximum rate. We will do everything so that at the beginning of next year Kharkiv residents heard the long-awaited concert in the long-awaited philharmonic society, "says the head of HOGA Yulia Svetlichnaya.

The head of the region emphasizes: the regional philharmonic society is not just a building, but a cultural and historical object.

"This scene was performed by Shalyapin, there were Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Khachaturian with premieres and concerts ... And this hall will be one of the best in Ukraine," assures Yulia Svetlichnaya. - It will be a powerful philharmonic complex. Two years ago we rented an organ hall for 500 seats. This year we are working on the reconstruction of a large philharmonic hall for 777 seats. Plus - chamber hall. In general, the complex will be able to accommodate 1,5 thousand people at the same time ".

Financing for conducting construction work is allocated from both the regional and state budgets. According to the contractors, the financing is timely, so the work is on schedule.

"The cash desk has been completed - only the painting has remained. We finish the installation of metal structures of the hall, mount the roof. The facade of the checkout hall has already been completed by 90%, and the main facade will be done in a couple of months ", - the chief of the construction site of the facility Sergey Lomakin lists the main directions of work.

In the big hall of the Philharmonic already completely made the ceiling and mounted the stage. Finishing is carried out in an orchestra pit. Also paint balconies of the second floor and individual elements of gold. Builders begin to lay in the hall oak parquet. Already ordered and manufactured 30-kilogram crystal chandeliers and chairs, completely copying the original.

"Sometimes it happens that nothing is better than it was before, you do not need to invent. Everything has long been thought of. And this scene will correspond to the scenes of all the old theaters, all the old halls that exist in any European capital. In this sense, we will now also be there. At the same time, everything is done according to modern technologies, "commented the director and chief conductor of the Kharkov Regional Philharmonic Yuri Yanko.

Among the features of the restored old Philharmonic Hall will be a "mobile" orchestra pit that can be raised and lowered, as well as a "shell" that focuses the sound.

"We managed to make absolutely amazing acoustics in the organ hall, and I very much hope that it will be very good in the big hall. In this regard, a great helper is a "shell" that focuses the sound.
