Police officers of the Nizhny Novgorod region detained a man on suspicion of theft from an enterprise.

An employee of a large meat processing plant appealed to the police department with a statement about the theft from a warehouse of new knives. The applicant explained that an unknown person had secretly stolen 114 new knives from the premises of the warehouse of the company located on Talalikhin Street, with no signs of breaking. The amount of damage was about 87 thousand rubles.

As a result of operational-search measures, the criminal investigation department of the territorial unit detained a suspect on Volgogradsky Prospekt.

He was a 30-year-old visitor working as a forklift driver at a meat processing plant who knew where the keys to the warehouse were located and, using this, committed an illegal act. Currently, the kidnapped was seized by police officers.

On this fact, the investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region instituted criminal proceedings on the grounds of the crime envisaged by Art.. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Theft".

The suspect is under a written undertaking not to leave the place.
