The owner of a pizzeria in Italy found a 70-year-old pensioner who every day sits on the beach with a portrait of a woman. This is reported by The Daily Mail.
54-year-old Giorgio Moff approached the man who watched the water every day, sitting next to the frame for photographs. He was 70-year-old Giuseppe Giordano, who came with a picture of his wife Ida to the beach in the Italian city of Gaeta.
Giordano said that he was terribly bored by his wife, who died after seven years of fighting cancer. The beach was their special place, which they often visited in their youth.
They met when they were 16 years old, celebrated the wedding in 1969 and have not parted since.
The couple also became parents of three children.
Moffa admitted that he expected to hear a similar story from a man: periodically Giordano cried and did not take his eyes off the portrait. He also shared that he himself had lost loved ones and understood the feelings of the Italian.
The owner of the institution published pictures of the grieving man in social networks, and his story quickly gained fame. All those wishing to help Giordano Moffa invited to his pizzeria.
