As reported in the Prosecutor's Office of the Sverdlovsk region, on October 2, 2015, the accused unlawfully cut down 35 pine, birch and spruce trees in the Sverdlovsk Oblast GKU Alapayevskoye Lesnichestvo.

On the eve, on July 25, 2018, the Alapaevsky City Court appointed Evgeny Shestakov penalty in the form of a fine of 1 million rubles, and also ordered to compensate the Russian Federation damages in the amount of 680 thousand rubles.
