In Sverdlovsk offices of postal service a simplified procedure for sending parcels. During the first month of the pilot project, about three thousand Sverdlovsk residents were able to evaluate the quality of the new service, which allows reducing the time for providing parcel service.

The service allows any client at home to fully prepare parcels for shipment, to rate the items and assign a track number. On the Russian Post site in the "Parcels" section, the sender enters all the data, after which the system forms all necessary documents and postal forms that must be printed and presented to the operator when visiting the office. The employee of the Russian Post reads all the information about the shipment for a few seconds according to the assigned track number, checks the parcel data and calculates with the customer.

"In the office the client only delivers the parcel, and all the preparatory work is carried out beyond the post office. The advantages of the new service are obvious, there is a significant optimization of time costs for the client and the operator, instead of the standard 5 minutes of service, we get the result in 30 seconds. In addition, there is a large group of "stand-alone" customers, who very quickly adapted and actively joined the new format of work, "- said the director of the macro region of the Urals, Post of Russia Dmitry Kiselev.

Recall that earlier such a service was launched for legal entities, senders of large shipments of parcels. This category of Russian Post customers was able to enter information about the shipments in their "Personal account", after which the operator received all the necessary information from the personal cabinet of the sender about the planned sending of parcels in electronic form. This service is already popular. Since the beginning of the year, legal entities have sent over 72,000 parcels through the "Personal Cabinet" service.
