The fourth inclusive bike ride "I see! I can! I'll help! "Will be held from 5 to 24 August in Ukraine.

The cycle of cyclists runs through Kharkiv, Poltava, Kremenchug, Dnieper, Zaporozhye and will end in Kherson. In the bike ride, the visually impaired people are traditionally involved and everyone who is ready to join the social initiative, writes Lens.

"More than 20 settlements. 21 days on the road. More than 60 participants. And all - for the sake of equality of people with disabilities in Ukrainian society. The goal of the bike ride is to destroy negative stereotypes about blind people and create opportunities for joint trips by establishing local bicycle tandem initiatives throughout Ukraine, "say the organizers.

On the way to the bike ride will be organized workshops of accessibility "Inclusive City". There you can learn how to make your city more accessible and comfortable, and also get acquainted and communicate with bike riders, try to ride a tandem bike, overcome obstacles on the wheelchair, learn the basic phrases of the gesture speech, get legal advice on promoting equal rights for all people and combating discrimination.

During the trip on tandem bicycles, the participants of the action will visit Askania Nova, Dnieper cliffs, the Sea of ??Azov, as well as the historical sights of Dikanka, Petrikovka and Khortitsa.



This year, as part of the bike ride, there will be fundraising for the establishment of the Nikolai Peha Scholarship - a blind leader who received his Master's degree in international law, studied in the UK, the USA and Canada and became an example for many people. Nikolay Peha at the Ukrainian Catholic University is an opportunity for people with disabilities to obtain a quality education and continue their activities.
