The OSCE special monitoring mission in Ukraine fell into a spy scandal, as the internal documents of the mission probably fell into the hands of Russian special services.
This is stated in the investigation of the TV program FAKT German channel ARD, according to Apostrof.
Thus, at the disposal of German journalists there was a copy of the digital medium, on which the internal reports of the mission on the events in the occupied territories of eastern Ukraine.
In addition, it contains data on the communication of the Deputy Chairman of the GMM Alexander Hug. In addition, the medium contains a mini-dossier on mission members. There are described character traits, propensity to drink alcohol, financial position, types of women they like and the like.
According to the FAKT investigation, all this information was at the disposal of the FSB officer.
"The investigation shows that the documents could have been transferred to Russian agents from an OSCE mission officer," report journalists.
"Now we can not say exactly what happened. We need further details, "said Deputy Chairman of the SMM Alexander Hug.
The deputy head of the mission added that the OSCE SMM takes seriously any threats to the security of the mission members.
The OSCE, he said, will check this situation and take the necessary measures.
The Russian Embassy in Berlin at the request of journalists replied that providing information on this issue is beyond their competence.
About 700 international observers are now involved in the OSCE mission, which has been operating in Ukraine since March 2014. In general, the mission has nearly 1200 employees, including many local as interpreters, advisers and administrative staff.
