On Monday, the capital of Mordovia, Saransk, a heavy rain with hail and a hurricane. The consequences of the disaster, which lasted only a few minutes, the emergency teams had to be eliminated for more than two days.
Hurricane wind knocked about 300 trees, and taking into account the park massifs - more than a thousand, several stopping complexes, falling trees tore power lines, damaged gas pipelines and parked cars. Dozens of roofs are damaged, more than 50 objects of city infrastructure.
Two women crushed by a collapsed tree. They were found by passers-by. The victims were hospitalized.
The liquidation of the consequences of the hurricane in Saransk involved about 500 people and 88 pieces of equipment. The amount of damage caused by the elements is specified.

In the village of Laishevka in the suburbs of Ulyanovsk, lightning hit the gas distribution point, so that there was not only light but also gas. In the same Laishevka, the wind blew several roofs. Stopped on the road because of the bad weather, the Gazelle was turned by the wind and dragged to the other side of the roadway. Several dozen houses remained without roofs. Well and with gardens the hail in size with a string bean. In places due to lack of electricity in the city pumping stopped, leaving the townspeople without water.
For half an hour, when a hurricane wind ruled July 3 in the village of Kurkul (Tatarstan), roofs were torn from several houses, damaged siding.
