The new tourist route "Marble Mile" started in the village of Mramorskoe Polevskoy urban district. There was opened a park of wooden sculptures according to Pavel Bazhov and a museum of marble in the open air. This is one of the first objects of the show, developed in Polevskoy. It is planned that it will expand and become a new point of growth in the investment attractiveness of the municipality.

As the organizers of the project told, the village of Mramorskoe celebrates its 280th anniversary this year. It is associated with the names of the mining engineer, Major-General and the founder of the village Yakov Dannenberg, the world-famous sculptor Stepan Erzi and Pavel Bazhov. The "Marble Mile" route begins in Polevskoy and passes in Mramorsky, uniting several objects from different eras: from the sundial of the 18th century to the monument to Soviet constructivism. Here they restore the ancient church of John the Baptist, and in the house church the miraculous icon "Resurrection".
In the new park the sculptures were made by the local master Sergey Slyuschenkov, they stand surrounded by blocks of marble of several colors. Another new art object - the letter "P" is made according to the sketches of the young artists Polevsky, who developed their own font according to Bazhov's tales. Organizers are sure that the letter "P" - the initial one in the name of the town Polevskoy - will become the beginning of the new history of the municipality.

Among the first guests of the museum in Marble - the Sverdlovsk team of the patriotic project ProRF. The children plan to become volunteers of the festival "Marble Mile", which will be held here this summer and will attract guests not only from neighboring regions, but also from foreign countries.
Recall, the task of developing domestic tourism, including the search for new "growth points" in municipalities, was set by the governor of the Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev.
