Based on the results of a study conducted by the Sociological Group "Rating", the number of those who maintain market relations as opposed to a planned economy gradually grows in the country.
As reported by the "Chief" in the "Rating", the highest support for market development is observed among the inhabitants of the West.
At the same time in the East, despite the fact that almost every third here supports a return to a planned economy, two-thirds all the same support the market. Support for a return to a planned economy is relatively higher among older respondents, women, non-workers, people with lower incomes and lower education levels.
Over the past five years, the request for entrepreneurship has more than doubled. Today, almost half of respondents would like to have their own business. Most of all those who would like to become an entrepreneur, among young respondents: almost three quarters are willing to do their own business. Also, a greater desire for entrepreneurship is shown by men, working, more well-off and educated respondents. Interestingly, among those who said that it works, one in ten already works in their own business.
Among those who would like to have their own business, has increased the assessment of the prospects for starting their own business in the near future. Today, 22% of those who would like to engage in entrepreneurship, announced a significant chance of starting a business in the near future (in the past polls, such respondents were no more than 6%).
About insignificant chances in this direction 41% declared, about their absence - 31%. In the regional context, relatively more than those who talk about the real prospects of starting a business in the near future, in the South and West. Also, such respondents are the most among the young and middle-aged respondents, provided with (in general, 41%) and those with higher education. Poor, unemployed and older people more often declare the lack of a chance to start their own business.
