In the cottage village of Udachino in the village of Russian Tishki, Kharkov region, the Church of the Archangel Michael.

This is the 11th church of the UOC-KP, which opens in the Kharkov region. The last time the temple was opened on the territory of military unit 3005 in 2016, also with the participation of the patriarch.

According to KHARKIV Today, the patriarch of the UOC-KP Filaret personally came to sanctify the church. In the celebratory service Vladyka Mitrofan, Bishop of Kharkov and Bogodukhov, UOC-KP. The service gathered about a hundred parishioners Udachino and the nearest villages.

Residents of the village in a conversation with journalists stressed that they wanted to build in their village the church of the Kiev Patriarchate.

Patriarch Filaret said that since 2014, the number of churches of the Kyiv Patriarchate has grown dramatically:

over 4,000 churches in Ukraine have opened over four years.

"The Lord gave us severe trials. He gave us a war so that we could improve and strive for the best, "Filaret said.. - The churches of the Kyiv Patriarchate act underground even in the occupied territories, which is not welcomed by the authorities of the occupation administrations ".

After the consecration of the church, Filaret congratulated Vladyka Mitrofan on his birthday and handed him the Order of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
