Tourist pearls of Slobozhanshchina can now be visited virtually

With the support of HOGA and Google Ukraine launched the campaign "Digital transformation of Kharkiv region".

Now, thanks to the captured 3D tours that create the effect of presence, one can see interesting places in the Kharkov region in one click, compose the route of the trip, share it with friends.

On June 7 - 10, with the support of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the KhOGA, OKZ "Kharkov Organizational and Methodological Tourism Center", representatives of government authorities, business and local communities, a map-camp (cartographic campus) of certified Google cartographers and local local guides drawing of tourist objects of the Kharkov area on electronic map Google.

Thanks to digital technologies, you can now virtually travel to the most interesting places in the Kharkov region, learn more on the eve of your trip, without leaving the screen of your computer or mobile device. Using the Google Maps search tools, you can see new up-to-date information - more than 100 tourist-specific tourist sites that have been digitized within map-camp.

With the aim of developing the region, tourism specialists and activists in the districts and communities joined to the training seminars and received basic knowledge on the popularization of sites on the Google-map for visitors and potential tourists.

Today, the mapping includes the Kharkiv, Novovodolazh, Zmiev, Balakley, Izyum, Chuguev, Pechenez, Valkovsky, Krasnokutsk, Bogodukhovsky, Zolochiv, Dergachev, Dvurechansky districts and their central settlements.

During June, the work on creation of the tourist site "DISCOVER KHARKIV" and virtual 3D tours (360 ° panoramas) will be completed for the following tourist sites: Gosprom, Kitsovskaya desert, Sharovskiy palace and park complex "Usadba", National Literary and Memorial Museum G. Frying Panels, National Memorial Complex "Marshal's Height And. Konev National Park, Dvurechensky National Nature Park.

As part of the digital transformation campaign in the Kharkiv region using the Google Maps tool, work is carried out together with student volunteers to audit public facilities and institutions for accessibility for people with disabilities.

In early July, it is planned to hold an official presentation of the results of cooperation between the Kharkov regional state administration and Google and the launch of the website "DISCOVER KHARKIV".
