He also noted that the authorities of Kiev should not "propagate sinful perversions".

"It is inadmissible to equalize sin with God's gift of freedom. Therefore, feeling responsibility before God and people, caring about the present and the future generation, we appeal to officials with a request not to allow the march of representatives of LGBT communities in the capital of our state - Kiev, "said the Metropolitan.
