This was announced by the deputy chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Anatoly Babichev during a briefing on the Children's Day.
"The leadership of the region pays special attention specifically to protecting the rights of children and creating comfortable conditions for the development of each child. A lot has been done on this issue in the region, "said Anatoly Babichev.
According to him, for the first time in the history of Ukraine last year, funds were allocated to purchase social housing for orphans and children deprived of parental care, as well as to purchase housing for children's homes of the family type.
"Last year, the region received 11.1 million UAH subventions from the state budget. For these funds, 15 real estate objects were purchased: 12 apartments and one dwelling house townhouse for the simultaneous provision of social housing to 20 people from among orphans, children deprived of parental care Zmievsky, Kharkov, Pervomaisky districts, "- said Babichev.
For the operation of two DDST, apartment houses were purchased in the Krasnograd and Zmiev districts, during which at least 10 orphans and children deprived of parental care will be accommodated during this year. According to Anatoly Babichev, in the Kharkov region to the issue of providing housing for orphans are suitable. In addition to the housing purchased at the expense of the state, rural, settlement, city budgets allocate funds for repairing premises, furniture and equipment.
"I am very pleased to note that this year we are continuing this program. This year, the Kharkov region proposed to allocate 21.8 million UAH. Part of the funds have already been received in the region - about 11 million. At the next session of the regional council, HOGA will propose the allocation of funds to the districts and cities of the region for the acquisition of social housing, "said Anatoly Babichev.
He explained that this year it is planned to purchase 30 apartments for orphans and about 5 houses for DDST.
"The Kharkov region is the only one in Ukraine where, with the help of raised funds, a new housing is built for children's homes of the family type. This year we plan to build 2 houses. Have not yet decided - for which kind of families, but such plans exist. And I am sure that we will implement them. Our regional program is not only the attraction of public funds, local budgets, it is the attraction of sponsorship funds. We successfully fulfill our plans, "said Anatoly Babichev.
