In Severouralsk, the court sentenced a local resident who, on International Women's Day, nailed a stranger. The malefactor was found guilty of deliberately causing serious injuries with a fatal outcome. The court appointed him a 9-year colony of strict regime.

The incident occurred on March 8, 2017. 30-year-old defendant in a state of intoxication came to visit his friend. At the entrance to the stairs between the 2nd and 3rd floors sat a drunken woman born in 1969. The offender, considering that she prevents him from passing, pushed the woman. The victim rolled down the steps and hit her head on a cast-iron battery.

The ambulance was called by neighbors, but the doctors could not help the injured. From a serious craniocerebral injury, she died the next day.

"The identity of the attacker was established during the complex of investigative and operational measures. At the time when law enforcement officers came to see him, the defendant was at home, obviously, being in full confidence in his own right and impunity. By the time of the first interrogation of the attacker, the investigators had already had certain information exposing him, so that under the yoke of irrefutable evidence the man confessed to the crime, "the press service of the Sverdlovsk region's press service said..
