On the initiative of the head of the Ivdelsky city district Petra Sokolyuk, a working visit of the deputies of the Duma of the Ivdelsky city district to the Northern Copper - Zinc Mine "Svyatogor".

The visiting group included the head of the district Petr Sokolyuk, the chairman of the Duma Tatyana Kuzmina, the chairman of the commission on budget and taxes Vladimir Mikhel, the secretary of the Duma Lyudmila Boyarsky, the deputy Nikolai Zamorin and the representative of the public movement "Ecology Ivdelya" Dmitry Fruitfulness.

The guests began their visit by acquaintance with the system of collection and cleaning of under-water, as well as water coming from the Tanjerskoe deposit. In particular, the guests saw the operation of the catchment system, the transportation of water, the phased operation of treatment facilities. A separate point of the visit was a visit to the facilities constructed in the framework of programs aimed at stabilizing the ecological situation in Ivdel: a newly constructed road, a canal system, a sump (water catchment) near the second dump.

Members of the delegation personally checked the water prepared for discharge to transparency and even tried it on the palate.

Also, the visiting group visited the heap of the Shemur deposit, estimated the volume of works on the erosion of longlines and preparation for reclamation, got acquainted with the hydrotechnical facilities of the production site.

The trip to the Novoshogorskoye field was completed, where the guests got acquainted with the production process for the extraction of minerals, as well as visited new treatment facilities that are in commissioning. Commissioning will take place in the near future. Wastewater treatment plants are designed to clean up the subsoil and quarry waters of the Shemur and Novo-Shemur deposits.

Head of the Ivdelsky city district Petr Sokolyuk and chairman of the Duma Tatyana Kuzmina noted that work to stabilize the situation is ahead of schedule.
