Despite the existing negative processes, after 2014 Ukraine is confidently following the path of reforms.

This opinion in the course of communication with readers on "Glavred" was expressed by the Ukrainian journalist and TV presenter Vitaly Portnikov, noting that the results of reforms are not always felt immediately.

"Of course, the reforms are not going as fast as we would like. But in many spheres they are already felt. At the same time, citizens very often feel what they do not face. Sociology shows that the majority of respondents who have never encountered courts or police are sure of the corrupt nature of these structures. This does not mean, of course, that there is no corruption, but it means that many conclusions people make not by their own experience, but by what they hear in the media or in their own environment, "said Portnikov.

The journalist also noted that the existing negative processes are the result of delaying or reforming reforms.

"Ukraine after 2014 is confidently moving along the path of reform. Our successes are obvious. We need another 20-25 years to build a normal country. Ukrainians can stop all this next year, vote for populists. It will be a good vaccination with new difficulties and disappointments. After that, we will go back to the reforms, but we will need another 30-35 years before their end. Given the colonial experience of Ukraine, both are not bad, "he concluded..
