Ivdel Office of Public Prosecutor has achieved toughening of punishment for the driver from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, which has made a deadly road accident in the north of Sverdlovsk area. The court of second instance sent the driver to the colony-settlement.

On November 12, 2015, at 10:00, the inhabitant of Yugorsk, Anatoly Masyanov, dispersed on his Chevrolet GMT 900 along the Ivdel-Khanty-Mansiysk highway and in the area of ??30 km collided with an oncoming car whose driver was killed and the passenger was seriously injured. The court found that the driver had violated the SDA without selecting an adequate speed in conditions of reduced visibility.

As a result, Masyanov was found guilty of violating traffic rules, which resulted in the death of a person.

The court appointed him 2 years of probation with probation for 2 years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for 2 years. The prosecutor's office did not agree with the soft verdict and challenged him in the Sverdlovsk Regional Court. The state prosecutor drew attention to the severity of the consequences of violation of traffic rules by Masyanov. As a result, the court changed the verdict, removing from it the wording "agreed". The intruder went to a colony-settlement for two years.
