In the period of bad weather EMERCOM of Russia recommends residents not to plan hikes and recreation in nature, to limit work in the open air and height. Motorists need to be careful on the roads, observe the speed limit and the distance.

The abundant precipitation will cause an increase in river levels, which can lead to flooding of the coastal zone.

Local authorities are recommended to strengthen monitoring of the hydrological situation and timely inform the emergency services of the Ministry of Emergencies about the threat of possible flooding.

Wetting snow on wires and trees can lead to emergencies on power supply and communication systems.

Round-the-clock monitoring of the functioning of life support systems is carried out by the Crisis Management Center of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Sverdlovsk Region.
