According to the information resistance group, in the framework of measures to counteract the receipt of autocephaly by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the higher clergy of the UOC-MP received instructions from Moscow to meet with influential Ukrainian politicians (Novinsky, Dobkin?. ), businessmen, statesmen, representatives of foreign diplomatic and expert circles in Ukraine, with whom it is possible to establish contact.

The goal of such meetings set by Moscow is to form a stable opinion and convince the maximum possible number of players who have real opportunities to influence the implementation of state policy and decision-making in Ukraine, that the creation of the Ukrainian local Orthodox Church and the receipt of autocephaly by it is inexpedient for various reasons.

Thus, Moscow plans to form a certain "initiative group" that will help the UOC-MP to implement further measures to block unification processes in Ukrainian Orthodoxy and to take a decision on granting autocephaly to the Ukrainian Church.

Also, according to the IP, in the near future representatives of the UOC-MP plan to organize a meeting with the Papal (Apostolic) nuncio in Ukraine, Claudio Gugerotti, who, in their opinion, shows a certain loyalty to Moscow and the UOC-MP, and persuade him to deliver to the Pope Francis needed Moscow signals and messages.
