The Kharkov local prosecutor's office No. 5 approved an indictment on violation of traffic safety rules by a subway worker, as a result of which a person was killed (h. 3 items. 276 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). At the same time, the alarm went off, but the station attendant ignored this fact.
Violating the job descriptions, a 38-year-old woman did not inform the trainer of the event and turned off the signaling of the tunnel alarm without taking any measures to detain the offender. The man walked along the tunnel about 50 m before he was hit by a train. From the injuries received, the victim died on the same day in the hospital. The woman is fired. The indictment in her relation was transferred to the Leninsky District Court of Kharkov. The maximum sanction of the article provides for up to 10 years of imprisonment.
