Ukrainian tourists can not fly out of Egypt because of the lack of aircraft, the flight is scheduled for April 30.
This was reported by the "Ukrainian Truth" head of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasily Kirilich with reference to the information of the head of the travel company.
"The situation with the transportation of Ukrainians from Sharm el-Sheikh to Ukraine is complicated - the number of people awaiting return is increasing. The tour operator claims that groups of tourists who have completed their stay in Egypt can not fly to Ukraine due to the lack of airplanes. Departure, according to the tour operator, is scheduled for April 30, "- said Kirilich.
According to him, all Ukrainian tourists awaiting departure from Egypt, are accommodated in hotels.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Egypt is taking measures to resolve the situation.
Earlier on Sunday, Kirilich stated that the travel company had indicated its readiness to take out a group of Ukrainians who continue to be in Sharm El Sheikh, on Sunday afternoons.
On Saturday evening, part of the Ukrainian tourists who could not fly out from Egypt on Friday, flew from the airport in Sharm El Sheikh to Lviv and to Kiev.
Ukrainian tourists from April 27 could not fly from Sharm el-Sheikh to Ukraine. Among more than 200 people, about 40 are children.
